This video shows the Granado Institute of Polyacrylonitrile Technology, an innovator institution located in Brazil, that conducts sustainable research with the PAN polymer.
This video presents the production of multifilament and monofilament fibers containing Polyacrylonitrile (PAN). These fibers are produced by melt spinning method without the use of toxic solvents, such as those employed in the dry spinning and wet spinning process.
This video shows the production process of Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) in the GRANADO INSTITUTE OF POLYACRYLONITRILE TECHNOLOGY (IGTPAN) laboratory (Brazil).
This video shows the producing of the polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fibers (acrylic fibers) by wet spinning process. In this case, PAN was dissolved in dimethylformamide (DMF) with concentration 25% . This solution was pumped into 2 spinneret with approximately 10,000 holes (40 micron). You can see the coagulation bath, washing, drawing, lubricating oil application, drying and winding.
This video shows the spinning process of Thermpan in bulk as pigmented multifilament fiber.
This video shows Thermpan pellets for injection molding.
This video shows the production process of Thermpan spinning as monofilament fiber.
This video shows the Thermpan pink pellets production process.
This video presents the first superabsorbent polymer produced by textile recycling, HIDROSILO, developed by the GRANADO INSTITUTE OF POLYACRYLONITRILE TECHNOLOGY (IGTPAN)
This video shows the Superabsorbent Polymer (SAP) for agricultural use HIDROSILO, the first in the world to be produced from acrylic and textile residues. Another technological innovation from the Granado Institute of Polyacrylonitrile Technology (IGTPAN).
